This is the lyrical genius you can come to expect from Dwarves. Blood, Guts and Pussy could arguably go down in the annals of punk rock as one of the rawest, nastiest records of all time.
For this record, the perpetually changing line up consisted of Blag Jesus on vocals, Salt Peter on bass, Vadge Moore on skins, and mysterious He who Cannot be Named with the six string. Coming in at just under 15 minutes, BG&P features mind blowing classics about fucking, venereal disease, and well, fucking. In fact, pretty much all the songs are about sex, drugs and violence. In that order. How could you not love that?
In the immortal classic SVFD about the social woes of unprotected sex, Blag quips �There�s bite marks on my dick�..� wrapping up the chorus with �Gimmie AIDS, fuck that, I just wanna get laid. Gimmie AIDS, yeah yeah��
In 1991, Sub Pop released a video for Drugstore, which features the inspiring lyric �I killed my mother and my dad did not approve, How come they always try and tell me what to do�. The video didn�t get much airplay, mainly because it showed the Dwarves in their truest forms, with bong rips, hypos, fist fighting mosh pits, all with the boys jumpin around like caged circus freaks on a meth bender. It�s great.
This is punk rock at its finest.
